Ricotta
Casa Ricotta is an Italian style reduced fat, fresh, soft, white cheese with a rich but mild, slightly sweet flavor. The texture is grainy, similar to a cottage cheese. Ricotta is naturally low in fat, low in salt and made from the whey.
Ricotta can be used in cooking for either sweet or savory recipes such as Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni, Parmesan and Thyme Baked Ricotta, Baked Ricotta Cheesecake, Ricotta Pancakes with Maple Butter and Leek, Ricotta and Mushroom Frittata. Gluten Free, Halal Certified.
